Ferencvárosi TC (U17) – FK Sarajevo 1-1 (1-0)
In the closing match of the day Fradi’s young players made a better start, possessing the ball in the field much more than the Bosnians. Accordingly, the first three corner kicks were taken by the Ferencváros players, though without truly endangering the Bosnian goal. In the 10th minute Márk Nyéki took a free kick, but his shot got deflected from the wall to corner. Four minutes later Henrik Kocsi headed on target after a set piece but it was save by the keeper Bovics. The first Bosnian opportunity was created six minutes later, with Bosnjak running up the right flank, centring the ball which was then shot by Pidro a good metre over the crossbar. The 30th minute saw another shot from Pidro, but the keeper Sebestyén was in his position and cleared. Fradi scored their leading goal before the first half was up: Péter Molnár scored a beautiful goal from a free kick, right into the upper right corner.
After half time the teams struggled with each other away from the goals for the most part, until Sarajevo equalised practically from no opportunity at all, when Sadiku managed to reach a passed ball with his foot while falling to the ground and the ball bounced behind the goal line beside the Hungarian keeper as he was moving out of his goal. A few minutes later the Bosnian squad nearly took the lead but a Fradi defender cleared the ball rolling towards the open goal just in time. This was followed by yet another great chance for Bosnia, when Veladzic broke into the box and hit the post from close range. The final minutes of the match were definitely dominated by the green-whites: Csiszár shot the ball up to the sky botching up a golden opportunity, with the goal wide open, then Lakatos shot slightly wide. At the end, there were two corner kicks when even the keeper Sebestyén was sent up to the opponent’s goal by the coach Attila Dragóner but Fradi could not score another one so the end result remained 1-1.
